Fresh Start recently lost our lease and will be moving in December. Thankfully we were able to find a new location at 16 Brent Dr in Hudson, but due to the booming economy, the new space is much more expensive. Our rent has gone from $35K to $80K making our overall budget increase from $75K to $120K.
The bottom line is we need your help to meet our fundraising goal of $50,000 which will allow us to move into our new space and pay for our build-out costs which include:
Next year we're projecting that we'll furnish 770 households (almost 2,200 people) with 24,000 pieces of furniture and home-goods. Thanks to our volunteer base we can furnish an entire household for about $150.
